Display of Past Events

Posted by Daniel Zrymiak on Oct 25, 2018 1:23 pm

Within the Upcoming Events, there are events which are scheduled for September and October 2018 (prior to today).

This creates clutter on the screen and forces the user to scroll to see what is ahead.

As a correction or enhancement, I propose that Events are displayed in a way that separates past events from current or future events.  This way, the first 10 events displayed are those on or immediately after the current date.

Daniel Zrymiak‍ thank you. Currently, events display based on begin and end date so it doesn't get removed from the list until the end date has passed. Several items related to events are in our backlog and we are expecting platform enhancements.

John BrecklineStephanie GauldingMarilyn Monda‍ can you take a look at the September cruise event. This relates to another conversation. This event should be recreated in the HDL community as a public event so its visible in both locations and should be created based on the event dates, not the registration expectations. You can use text fields or comments in the event to include reminders of key dates as well as community and other notification systems to remind people. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Cynthia Nazario‍ - I'm working with John and Marilyn to address the Cruise however, there are a bunch more that are displaying the same way (likely as they are a six week course). I found myself extremely frustrated by having to scroll through all these to see what's in November and December. These should be fixed as well. Stephanie
