I'm a big fan of A&W Canada.  This is a burger chain that has positioned itself as being healthier and more sustainable than its competitors.

The City of Longmont has various sustainability goals:

Among the sustainability programs are curbside recycling and composting to reduce solid waste going to the landfill.

Longmont also runs its own power & communications utility and has recently added high speed internet by installing a community owned fiber optic network (called NextLight.)
