DINNER NIGHT AT THE TRAILS
Financial Planning and Investing for YOUR Future
Our Speaker: Early in his childhood, Mark Lorenz knew that he wanted to be an engineer; so, naturally, Mark graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla. At the age of 13, Mark also found a passion for investing, stocks, and mutual funds; thanks to reading the Wall Street journal. Mark eventually retired from Caterpillar after an illustrious 39-year career, with assignments that took him across the globe supporting engines in a variety of applications. Mark spent most of his career in the engine business and is considered an engine guy. He retired as Quality Manager of the Lafayette Engine Center, leaving his mark on the business with focus on excellence and the customers.
Upon retirement, Mark followed his other childhood passion and passed the SEC exam in 2016 on his first attempt and opened Lorenz Financial. Mark is a Registered Investment Advisor, a fiduciary, who is always required to put the interest of the client first, not his own.
Mark and his wife have 2 sons (both Purdue graduates) and have called West Lafayette home for more than a decade.
