The Evolution of A3 Thinking

The goal of A3 Thinking is to focus on cultivating a continuous improvement mindset, developing teams, and achieving superior quality results by frequently practicing a scientific way of thinking as a part of the daily routine. During this presentation, Deondra will share with attendees the history of the A3 and its relation to the Toyota Production System or the “Toyota Way” along with the benefits of applying A3 thinking in manufacturing, other industries and one’s own personal life.

Guest Presenter:
Deondra R. Wardelle is a leader, organizer, corporate trainer, licensed health coach, problem solver, motivational speaker, and continuous improvement professional.  Her focus is coaching, empowering, and developing individuals towards achieving their personal and professional goals.

Deondra has a diverse professional background that includes her current role as the Vice -President of Human Resources and Continuous Improvement Science at the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), her former role as the Director for a global industry leader, where she and her team were responsible for driving and supporting Continuous Improvement opportunities for more than 70 facilities in North America, Europe and Asia. In addition, she has worked as a corporate trainer, project manager, banking branch manager and has held various roles in operations management.

Born in California, raised in Kentucky and now living in Indiana.  Deondra graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication, has studied Leadership at the Louisville Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and earned her Health Coach certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

As the owner of On to the Next One (O2TN1) Consulting, LLC a licensed Health Coach, Kata Geek, and Lean Six Sigma professional (specializing in Lean Six Sigma and the Toyota
Improvement and Coaching Kata) Deondra’s passion and life’s calling is using Continuous Improvement methodologies via Strategic Planning to help organizations, groups and individuals achieve their dreams and goals…one target condition at a time.

Our section is COMMITTED to providing Programs and Training based upon the "Voice of the Customer" based on our annual program and interests survey. We've been an award-winning section for most years as a result! 

Meetings are usually free of cost to all (except for meetings at The Trails), training is discounted for members. Feel free to contact us or visit one of our functions. 

We're also highly interested in helping others.  We value your interest and hope you will become a regular attendee at our meetings.  If you have an idea for meeting topics and/or wish to present contact one of our leaders for more information.  Sections outside of Lafayette, Indiana are welcome to join our community and attend!!
