Background About Melitta USA:
Melitta North America has been roasting coffee in Cherry Hill, NJ for over 50 years, and their plant has undergone numerous changes. In the past decade, coffee production has ramped up significantly and this growth has required automation upgrades to meet demand. Enter Precision Automation's team, led by sales engineer Marty Cohen, whose material handling expertise and plant familiarity proved valuable for the solution, design, and integration.
The partnership between the two longstanding Cherry Hill organizations has blossomed, with Precision developing a new coffee canning line complete with zero-pressure accumulation conveyors to keep cans queueing up without halting production.
