About the Presentation
There are many forces at work in manufacturing today that make it more demanding and challenging than ever before: supply chain shortages, labor shortages, increasing SKUs, mass customization, regulatory requirements etc. Raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods and packaged orders must move quickly from one point to the next, forcing us to process information faster than ever before while the stakes of getting things wrong are also higher than ever before. Manufacturers can’t always assign more people to help with quality control inspections. Learn about some recent trends in automated inspection, how machine vision can be deployed, tips for carrying out a project from A-Z and potential pitfalls to be aware of.
