Minnesota Section 2/11/2020 Program Meeting: "DOE from an Engineering Perspective: Explore Types of DOEs"
Design of Experiments (DOE) is a method to detect and quantify the effect of changing the inputs to a system, while considering the inherent noise in the system. This presentation introduces common types of DOEs, such as Full Factorial, Fractional Factorial, Definitive Screening, Taguchi, Central Composite, Box-Behnken and Plackett-Burman. Specialized designs such as Split-Plot, Mixture and Space Filling will also be introduced.
