Packaging Testing 101
Packaging Testing is a critical component of maintaining product quality and performance. This introductory presentation will focus specifically within the food industry at quick serve restaurants, consumer packaged goods and e-commerce. We’ll begin with a broad overview of the packaging industry and various material types before transitioning to supply challenges, sustainability initiatives and how routine product testing drives improvement through performance comparisons and compliance. We’ll then move to select test method specifics performed on both raw materials and finished goods to simulate in-field use before concluding with an overview on how Clear Packaging is bridging the gap between client needs/expectations and the manufacture’s capabilities.
