Speaker Bio: Dawn Ringrose has consulted to management in areas that positively contribute to organizational performance since 1984. A wide range of academic qualifications, professional certifications and practical experience have contributed to her subject matter expertise in organizational excellence. She has worked across sectors with different size organizations to improve performance and several of these organizations have earned national excellence awards. With a strong desire to transfer what she has learned to others, Dawn has developed a turnkey toolkit that is designed to make the excellence journey more simple, straightforward, time efficient and cost effective.

Presentation 2: The Power of Games to Unleash Collaboration and Creativity at Work by Zac Jarrad
Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we engage with associates and teams. There are now a lot of teams who work in a hybrid or virtual environment. Games are a unique tool that can be used to bring together teams, teach new skills, and help us adapt to the modern workplace. This is especially important for Millennials and Generation Z who have spent their entire lives playing games and want to see them in the workplace. The presentation will provide an overview of the history of games, explore team building games for hybrid or remote teams, and share best practices for using games to maintain quality in an altered work environment.

Speaker Bio: Zac Jarrard is the Fearless Gaming Leader from Jarrard Consulting, LLC. The company is dedicated to creating adaptive and innovative organizations that can survive the test of time. Jarrard Consulting, LLC does this through assisting and supporting clients via best practices in project management and gamification. Zac holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Business Analytics, MPA and MBA from Park University. His research interests include gamification, innovation, and project management. Outside of his company, Zac is heavily involved the community. He is a proud ASQ member who serves as the Chair of the Kansas City Section. Zac is an Eagle Scout who aspires to make the world a better place for everyone.
