Conflict Resolution - Debra Schmidt 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
The benefits of conflict management training go beyond just solving arguments between employees in an office. Conflict can arise in an organization when individuals have different opinions, interests, and thought processes. As a result, they may not be willing to compromise with each other, which results in arguments and disagreements. Conflict management prevents these conflicts. It helps employees find alternatives to problems and implement their ideas collaboratively, resulting in less workplace stress, increased employee retention, and improved performance. Conflict management incorporates a variety of different styles. While these styles may differ, every method utilizes the same management skills. To successfully manage conflict, you’ll need to understand various strategies and learn the right time to exercise each of them. Loyalty Leader Debra Schmidt will teach you strategic ways to manage conflict with coworkers and customers.
You will learn:
• Five conflict management styles
• Your conflict management style
• Four ways to keep your cool
• Techniques for avoiding common high-risk responses
• How to recognize and replace inflammatory words
• Seven conflict resolution strategies
