Abstract:
“Puppetry: Quality Control and Fraud Prevention” is a presentation that takes an emotional approach on the devastating consequences of falsifying data during material verification. Adrian will present a few of the many cases that are related to the release of fake data and will talk about the major reasons that led these individuals to spread them. What are the consequences of such behavior? What would you do if you witness fraudulent activities in your lab? How would you preserve your integrity and your job when top management is aware or even involved in this type of behavior? This presentation is an opportunity to actively participate in a discussion about this challenging subject.
Adrian Bio- Adrian has dedicated 25 years to a career in quality. He has worked in the medical device field, cosmetic, and pharma industry, and was an ASTM member. He is now a quality engineer for Pall corporation-a Danaher company. In his time off, he enjoys global traveling with his family.
