Dave is a retired U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and is currently a Black Belt trainer and CEO of Process Whisperer Consultants LLC in Greeneville, TN. Following a successful military career which as a helicopter pilot and a U.S. Defense Attache overseas, Dave taught Lean Six Sigma “Belt” classes for various companies including Rolls-Royce plc, the University of Tennessee and Northrop Grumman. Dave is currently an ASQ volunteer leader and Six Sigma Instructor for several organizations. Dave has served several terms on the Board of both the American Society for Quality Lean Enterprise Division and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) Operational Excellence (Lean) Division. In addition to Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certifications, Dave is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds Lean Bronze Certification from SME/Shingo/AME. Dave is also a Toyota Kata “Geek” and teaches several Toyota Kata introductory classes, He is also an ASQ International Team Excellence Awards Final Round Judge.
