Summary of presentation:

Students in the ISE (industrial engineering) department at Ohio State can select a two-semester capstone project focusing on Lean Six Sigma process improvements for the benefit of a local organization. Students presenting this evening will be either very early in their project or midway through, and they will share their use of analytical tools, facilitation techniques, and project management approaches. We welcome questions, and we are always in search of new capstone project ideas and partners.

Tracy Owens, Associate Professor of Practice

As a founding member of ASQ’s Innovation Division, Tracy Owens has promoted a growing body of knowledge on innovation management and brought his audiences a strong message about innovation as a process and not just a creative spark. He teaches Lean and Six Sigma at the Ohio State University’s College of Engineering, and his latest book F-Notes was released in 2020.
