Description:

In this era of big data, it is easier than ever to observe behavior and make sound decisions. It is also possible to manipulate data in a way that does not represent truth. One defense against abuse of data is measurement system analysis, a study of the manner by which metrics are collected. The goal of MSA is to ensure consistency, reliability, and accuracy of reported data. Joining us are students from OSU's Integrated Systems Engineering department to share how they have used MSA in their capstone projects to reveal opportunities for clearer data collection.
