ABSTRACT:
Leadership excellence requires a focus on serving internal teams, employees and volunteers as well as external customers, regardless of industry. Retaining volunteers and retaining employees are more similar than they are different: engagement through motivation, inspiration, and aspiration. Examining stories from non-profit and for-profit teams, we’ll discuss methods for attracting, retaining and developing talent, the foundations for creating and leading high-performing teams, and fortifying the future of an organization through the development of its talent.
