John DiIorio & Vito Manfredi
Mr. John DiIorio and Mr. Vito Manfredi will speak about two United States spaceports; Spaceport America located in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and our own Houston Spaceport in Southeast Texas. Additionally, the goals of each spaceport tenant and their recent contracts with NASA will be explained using a lecture and short videos. Finally, work on a new space cruise industry towards the end of the 2020’s will be presented.

Speakers Biographies:
John DiIorio has a Mechanical Engineering degree in power, propulsion, and energy plus a diploma in Quality and Reliability Engineering. He has made numerous presentations for professional societies, the NASA Lunch and Learn program, four separate presentations at the NASA ATS (Annual Technology Symposium), and at comic and space events (GRB convention center and NRG center in Houston). Also, he financially supports school STEM conferences to encourage students to participate in science fairs. John also derives base mathematical equations to support the Black Ops industry, along with designing special projects. He founded The DiIorio Foundation (a special awarding agency), along with his wife Donna Ramsey Smith, to lead a team of science judges at the Science and Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH). Finally, he is the President of Planet Forbidden Pictures, which produces the ‘Famous Person’ interviews and mini movies.
Vito Manfredi has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio-Television from the University of Houston. Vito is a self-employed Graphic Designer at VRM Graphic Design, a Sales and Marketing Associate at Texas Tools Marketing, and previously worked at National Oilwell Varco in Technical Publications and Corporate Marketing. Vito has assisted John DiIorio in designing and giving presentations for professional societies (ASQ, NOMADS, AIAA, and NSS), two NASA Lunch and Learns at JCS, four at NASA JSC ATS (Annual Technology Symposium), and presentations at comic and space events (GRB convention center and NRG center in Houston). Vito has collaborated with John on STEM related projects. In addition, he is a science judge for The DiIorio Foundation, a special awarding agency at the Science and Engineering Fair Houston (SEFH).
