Online UH Student Branch & Section Professional Dev. Meeting - 3/5/2021
From Error Silos to Continuous Improvement

Ryerson, a leading metal fabricator and distributor, is always looking for ways to continuously improve our product offering to our customers. One of the ways to improve was to initiate a project to reduce errors. The goal was to design a comprehensive corrective action system to allow the company to analyze trends in corrective action root causes and share best practice solutions. The Ryerson Corporate Quality Council worked together to design, test, and implement a comprehensive 8D app utilizing their current quality management software.
