Most quality professionals are process focused. In working with a client, it became apparent that there is a huge opportunity for Lean and Six Sigma practitioners to include the concepts of Human Performance into our tool box. There are many positives and some cautions to be considered in adding this focus to our repertoire. Just as waste is a core consideration in Lean and variation is key within Six Sigma, so is accountability within Human Performance.
