Overview: Quality improvement methods like Lean Six Sigma are based on a rigorous use of data. Data informs decisions that in turn drive actions at tactical and strategic levels. Seasoned ASQ members will tell you there are many ways in which companies can screw up their use of data, some of which may not occur to most people.

In this session, we explore how quality professionals can best help their organizations make sound decisions at all levels through the use of simple best practices regarding data. This interactive and entertaining session will provide participants with specific actions they can implement immediately to help ensure the use of trustworthy data in their firms.

About the Speaker: Jeff Cole is President of JCG Management Consulting based in Dayton and specializing in Lean, Six Sigma and Organizational Change.
