Gerald Taylor will give a presentation with two objectives. First is to introduce the technology of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and its utility in front and back office processes. Second is to illustrate how lean management practices can be combined with RPA as a powerful approach not only to streamline an operation, but to also free employees from the prison of tedious mundane activities to add value in more high priority work. The presentation will include a Case Study of RPA combined with lean management and a demonstration of RPA.
About the Speaker: Gerald Taylor is Managing Director, Strategy and Operations at WP Cary School of Business @ Arizona State University. He was also an International Fellow – Toulouse Business School – France. He holds a B.Sc., Quantitative Business Analysis @ Arizona State University. He is both a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
