Topic

Integrating Management Systems with Lean-

As more companies are pushed by their competition/industry/customers to obtain Safety, Health & Environmental (aka ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar), Industry Specific (AS9001, IAFT 16949, ISO 13485, etc.) and maintain ISO 9001 certification, there is a tremendous need to simplify the quality systems and consolidate them into a single compliance requirement. The key to quality system simplification is focusing on the requirements of the business and integrating the requirements of the various standards where/when necessary. But how can this be done? Lean is a simple 5 step process to look at the current systems in place with a lens to focus on waste, redundancy and non-value added steps. Once you see these non-value added steps you can begin to improve and streamline the quality system. Gary Grubbs has experience creating combined and successfully implementing quality systems for industrial products/pharmaceutical and industrial/automotive products. He has also advised environmental professionals on how to integrate environmental and quality management systems. To register select https://forms.office.com/r/Sk4NHzv6hu
