The topic of Leadership is under discussion and also under confusion for long time. Whenever there are discussions around leadership qualities and characteristics, it is always the same and obvious topics of communication, visionary, delegation, motivation etc. More than 80% of the time, the focus is on the hard skills and on others, very less on the soft skills and on leadership themselves. This presentation focusses on the missing soft skills in today’s leaders, which I call as Spiritual characteristics. Key Take away:
- What is spirituality and its relationship with Leadership
- Intro to my Spiritual leadership model
- Spiritual leadership characteristics’ missing in today’s leaders
About the speaker:
Vetrivel Janakiramanam in an Operational Excellence professional with experience in implementing Lean transformation programs in different industries currently based in Germany as a Director of Operational Excellence at Roche. Vetrivel started his never-ending continuous improvement journey in the automotive industry and got the lifetime opportunity to experience transformations in different industries – Automotive, Industrial, Energy, Electrical, Engineering and Pharma. What fascinates him about Operational excellence is the enormous impact it has on my personal life. Operational excellence has helped him gain clarity on his personal goals / vision and create a roadmap for success. Daily reflections have been part of both his professional and personal life for a long time, which makes him a better person each day. As he reflects on his Journey and as he learns new things each day, he realizes that there is so much little he knows. That is the power of reflections and continuous learning.
