The QA/QC candidate must be literate in English; he/she must be able to read and interpret documents such as Factory Order instructions, SOP’s and safety rules. The candidate must have the ability to use, read and interpret scientific measurement and inspection tools and devices. In addition to he/she should be proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and email communication programs. The Quality Engineer will have a BS degree in Quality, Engineering or the equivalent (five years business experience including Quality Assurance, Control, or Engineering). The Quality Engineer will have demonstrated achievements in lean thinking, project management, performance improvement and support to a quality management system. Experience with Statistical Process Control and/or Six Sigma is expected. Communications skills and computer literacy also are needed to interface with customers and business functions in other departments.
