Know someone who has applied quality management principles to all types of management system standards, their supporting technical standards, and/or Performance Excellence Awards and is recognized by peers for their contributions to standards literature, and has shown outstanding leadership in positions within the standards community? Then nominate them for the Freund-Marquardt Medal.
The Freund-Marquardt Medal is presented to nominees who, like Richard Freund and Donald Marquardt, have applied quality management principles to the development, implementation, and literature of all types of management system standards (e.g. Quality, Environment, Occupational Safety and Health, etc.), their supporting technical standards such as those produced by ISO TC 69 on Statistical Methods, major Quality, Environment, and/or Performance Excellence Awards such as the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality and the EFQM Excellence Award Criteria.
