Webinar: In-Process Quality Improvement: Concepts, Methods, and Applications

Hi, Colleagues,

I would like to recommend one paper published in the IISE flagship journal, IISE Transactions, entitled “In-Process Quality Improvement (IPQI): Concepts, Methods, and Applications”. The paper link is here.

The paper was written by Dr. Jianjun (Jan) Shi, the Carolyn J. Stewart Chair and Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering for the "development of data fusion-based quality methods and their implementation in multistage manufacturing systems". The IPQI techniques have been implemented in many manufacturing systems, such as automotive assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, machining, forming, rolling, and nanomanufacturing.

One webinar is associated with the paper. The webinar is a conversation with Dr. Jan Shi to learn about the journey of developing the methodology of in-process quality improvement (IPQI), its impacts on quality management, and future trends in the new era of the data science revolution.
