ASQ SECTION 1206 COVID-19 RESPONSE
COVID-19 has literally changed the world and how businesses and organizations are operating. In today’s ever-changing climate, we are taking every precaution for the well-being of our Members. With current guidance from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and in accordance with the latest Emergency Order for Wisconsin issued today, the Section Leadership Committee has made the decision to cancel all in-person events planned through the end of May.
We will be continually looking for other ways to engage with you and provide value. Here are some of the ways in which you can find value provided by our Section and with your overall Member access:
- The previously planned Certified Quality Engineer preparation training will be held as an online offering. More details will be announced shortly.
- We will be adding content to our myASQ Community page – including discussion posts, links to other resources, and networking opportunities. Visit us at https://my.asq.org/communities/home/266 to stay connected and up-to-date.
- Other Sections and Divisions are offering webinars – many of which are free of charge. You can browse the myASQ Communities pages to see what other offerings are there and register for these events.
We will continue to evaluate the risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic – including guidance from national, state, and local authorities – and update you as the situation progresses. We hope to provide more valuable opportunities later this year. Until then, take good care of yourselves.
