Vertiv is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer, QMS in Westerville, OH to provide guidance and control of the Quality Management System for the Americas Region. This position will drive Continuous Improvement, perform audits, ensures QMS performance, manage the Quality Manual Documentation and Documentation Library. Prepare the business for and participate in external audits (both certification and customer) as needed. Manage the Corrective Action System and ensure Corrective Actions are complete and closed appropriately. Participated in Management Reviews as required. Develops and implements an effective quality system, including, but not limited to documentation, quality planning, and Quality Management System audits.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs internal audits as assigned for Vertiv HQ as well as other Americas sites as assigned
Manages Corrective actions from audits performed
Participates in the planning and execution of external audits (certification and customer) as assigned
Leads the identification of problem root cause and the development and implementation of effective corrections and preventive methods
Collects, analyzes, and reports on various measurement statistics and metrics
Interface closely with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Product Management to understand and improve product and service quality.
Investigate and resolve QA projects, as assigned.
Ensure communication and interaction with the Americas Region site QMS Teams
Participate as Auditor of the Vertiv Quality Management System.

Reports to Americas Region Quality Manager, QMS
A four-year degree in Engineering or a related field of study plus a minimum of four years of direct job experience in quality assurance; or in lieu of education, a minimum of eight years of in-depth job experience in quality assurance
Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 (TL 9000 knowledge helpful)
Internal Auditing training and experience
Proficient with word processing, (relational) database, data analysis, spreadsheet, planning and desktop publishing programs and software
Knowledgeable and proficient with various data analysis and problem solving techniques
Must be skilled in interpersonal skills and communications (including presentations) to groups of various sizes and levels within the organization
