• Ensures risks associated with mortgage lending are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
• Communicate effectively and provide coaching/guidance to key stakeholders
• Help identify and manage emerging risks and issues
• Subject matter expertise for all applicable single-family residence mortgage origination laws and regulations
• Writes and manages team policies and procedures
• Provide oversight of key vendors
• Monitor quality data from origination to post-close”

The qualifications for this one include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Risk, Accounting or other relevant Business doctrine or equivalent
• 2 years of Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance experience in a banking, insurance, audit, public accounting, or other relevant financial institution
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools/applications, including Excel, charts, V lookups, pivot tables, reporting, PowerPoint, as well as collaborative platforms such as SharePoint
• Ability to clearly define scope and identify root cause of problems, research potential solutions
• Familiar with risk management best practices
• Extensive knowledge of end-to-end mortgage origination process
