Pratt and Miller of South Lyon Michigan are known mostly to the public as the Corvette Endurance Racing Team. In fact, Pratt and Miller not only support racing but military, aerospace and other specialty engineering. The talk will discuss Pratt and Miller’s expanding mission and the challenge to implement appropriate quality methods to their various businesses and missions.
About Francis Wilson: Frank Wilson is responsible at Pratt and Miller for Management of manufacturing quality process, personnel, and equipment on both a daily and long term basis, Including ISO 9001 Management Representative & Lead Internal Auditor, Quality representative to customers, General metrology support and reverse engineering, Manufacturing related testing, Non-destructive testing and failure analysis.
Frank has been with Pratt and Miller since 2007. Frank Graduated from Kettering University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

About Jake Frimenko: Jacob (Jake) Frimenko calls himself the original “StatMan” and is on a mission to help people solve difficult problems using statistical methods, passion, and pragmatic strategies.
Jake earned a Ph.D., numerous scholastic credentials, and several prestigious titles. He has worked in the automotive component design and manufacturing industry for 35 years and has consulted with medical device, pharmaceutical, and health care providers. He holds academic rank at several southeastern Michigan universities and teaches in engineering, business, and medical colleges. Besides his professional and academic achievements, Jake will quickly tell you that he is most proud of his visits to 3rd grade classrooms and getting children excited while they learn Design of Experiment and statistical analysis concepts.
