ASQ San Antonio 2020 Update
On behalf of the ASQ San Antonio Leadership Team, we hope you and your family are doing well and thank you for being part of the San Antonio section.

As Chair of the San Antonio section, I'd like to begin by apologizing for the lack of communication during this time. While everyone has had their challenges, it's my responsibility to ensure you're informed and I'll make sure you are for the rest of 2020.

That said, I'd like to take this opportunity to update you on the current state of our section.

1. ASQ HQ COIVD-19 guidelines dictate no in-person meetings until September 1, 2020. Our Section leadership Team (SLT) is looking to create virtual meetings to supplement in-person meetings. We're aiming to have a speaker in July so please be on the lookout for a meeting invite. Please be patient as we work through this process as we'll definitely need any and all feedback to continue improving.

2. We've also been informed that our meeting place will not be available for in-person meetings for the remainder of 2020. Should anyone have any suggestions for an alternate meeting place, please email us at asqsanantonio1404@gmail.com. We'd be happy to hear from you.

3. We will be moving away from our website (www.asqsa.org) at the end of 2020 and moving solely to posting on our this myASQ website. If you'd like more information on myASQ, please select this overview to learn more.

4. We're always looking for new volunteers for our SLT. If interested, please see this link for position descriptions.

Thank you for being a member of the ASQ San Antonio section.

Best Regards

Ben Tovar
ASQ San Antonio Chair

Hi Benjamin, I know it’s been a tought time for all and we are trying to deal with the limitations of live gatherings. I also think this is a great opportunity to build other options as you stated above. I look forward to the virtual meetings.
Thanks for the response Jair. We're attempting to confirm our speakers so we hope you'll be able to attend our virtual meetings and provide feedback.
