Summary: The purpose of this presentation is to provide an introduction to project management and offer practical skills for initiating, planning, tracking, controlling and evaluating projects.

Speaker: Yota Atsalis - MBA, PMP, is an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the health care and manufacturing industries. She was employed at Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHI) for almost 15 years, involved in internal operations including analyzing and improving organizational processes. She gained expertise in project management, operations management, process improvement, and client relations. Yota is currently employed at Fluid Metering, Inc. since March 2020 as the Product Development Manager. Some of her current tasks includes managing engineering resources to meet business needs and championing continuous improvement to help implement best practices to enable teams to operate efficiently.

She holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Stevenson University, Baltimore, MD and a Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola University, Baltimore, MD. She also received her

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
