Message from the Chair – May 2019

May?!...where is the time going?   We are wrapping up our program season and looking ahead to summer time but do not want you to feel as if this is the end…just know May is full of excitement!  New website (see below); amazing speaker; news of our section being honored…so much to celebrate!

A huge thank you to Kerry Fox who provided us some very valuable content and perspective to Lean Leadership and to Paul Prunty for presenting tutorial during our April event.  Thanks to all who were in attendance and provided input during our networking time; your participation will result in future tours to be scheduled…stay tuned! 
                                                                                                                                      
Congratulations is in order!  Grand Rapids Section Leadership Committee has received the ASQ Bronze award recognition for 2018. This level was achieved by meeting the good standing requirements as well as meeting or exceeding the Member Value Metric.

OUR MAY EVENT!!!!....we are honored to host Shane Yount in Grand Rapids for two powerful days of process-based leadership through his “Business Bootcamp”.  It is not too late to register so plan on joining us for these very valuable learning opportunities:
 
  • Thursday (5/9) ASQ Presents: Process Based Leadership - Business Bootcamp overview
 
  • Friday (5/10) Workshop: Business Bootcamp we will learn how to create process-based business strategies and why they are effective and sustainable.
