Virtual Quality Discussion Group (vQDG)

Topic: Data Visualizations in the Analytics Workflow
Quality 4.0 is for everyone, and now is the time to make it connected, intelligent, and automated. AI (artificial intelligence) and ML (machine learning) are more accessible now than ever before, and even small businesses can explore the potential of Quality 4.0 to improve their processes. Processing an unprecedented amount of data is one of the biggest challenges for everyone, and communicating and understanding data is necessary in order to bring these new technologies and capabilities into practice.
The presentation will introduce an overview of the role that data visualizations play in today’s world of Big Data, AI and ML. It will also deal with: how to communicate effectively and help decision making using data visualizations; how data visualizations address key principles of data and information quality and help us observe deviations from our expectations, and how it helps in the identification of cases of misinformation.
