The ASQ Performance Excellence Program (PEP) Committee has awarded the ASQ Phoenix Section with a "Silver" level recognition for operational performance and member satisfaction! Congratulations to the Phoenix Section members and member leaders for this distinguished recognition of excellence.
The Phoenix Section was awarded the Bronze level of PEP achievement in 2019 and 2020, and now the Silver level for 2021. The only barrier to achieving Gold is the lack of Section growth. The COVID pandemic has seen a significant share loss these past two years for much of ASQ, including the Phoenix Section. The Phoenix Section Leadership Team (SLT) has focused its 2022 Strategic Plan on growing the Section in terms of improved member retention rates and adding new members. The Phoenix Section developed a 5-point plan to address Growth:
As always, the Phoenix Section SLT requests and welcomes member feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Again, congratulations on the well-deserved ASQ PEP recognition!
- The Section Leadership Team recently joined the AZ Technology Center which provides us the opportunity to better network with C-suite executives among the 700+ member companies of the AZTC. Our goal is to participate in at least 80% of AZTC's networking events to increase our Section's visibility and grow our impact in the AZ business community.
- Sponsor two new Program meeting drawings for rewarding consistent member attendance and new member recruitment.
- Conduct "UnMeetings" by the Section Officers around the state of AZ to meet and greet, and give voice to our out-state members.
- Send a physical postcard to every Section member thanking them for their membership, and encouraging membership renewal. Over 50 Phoenix Section members have opted out of email communications; the SLT fears these members might not be aware of all the Section products, services and networking opportunities available to them.
- Sponsor more events on the ASU university campus to improve our reach among students and potential NexGen members.
As always, the Phoenix Section SLT requests and welcomes member feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Again, congratulations on the well-deserved ASQ PEP recognition!
