ASQMV is having a private tour of the maple sugaring process at Appleton Farms. The tour will be held at 11 am on Saturday February 26th. Space is limited and no walk-ins are allowed.
Visit the Sugar Shack at Appleton Farms for a presentation on maple sugaring. Learn about how maple trees are tapped and how sap is collected and turned into maple syrup. This is mainly an outdoor event so please dress warmly.
The sugar shack is located immediately adjacent to our Farmhouse, by the main parking lot
Where to park: When you arrive at the farm, go right at the fork (towards Farm Offices) and park in the lot next to the Old House / Farm Offices. Please be advised there is a $10 fee for parking. You can pay in advance at their website or the pay station at the main parking lot.

From Rt. 128, take Exit 45B, Rt. 1A North. Travel about 6.5 miles north on Rt. 1A and turn left at the Appleton Farms entrance sign (about 1/4 mile after the entering Ipswich sign on your left). Once inside the property, after the welcome gate, bear to the left for the CSA barn and bear to the right for the farm offices, farm store curbside pickup, trails, and public events and programs.
