Come join us for our Fall Kickoff Meeting and listen to Mike Turner present “Design for Six Sigma: Visual Methods to Root Cause and Optimize”. Mike Turner will show problem-solving strategies to uncover patterns, interactions, and interfaces without getting lost in the data.

Over the last 11 years, as a Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Master Black Belt, Mike Turner has developed effective strategies to coach teams through technically difficult problems.
Mike’s presentation, “Design for Six Sigma: Visual Methods to Root Cause and Optimize” will show problem-solving strategies to uncover patterns, interactions, and interfaces without getting lost in the data.
Key topics Mike plans to cover include:
  1. Getting “lost” in data
  2. Interactions & Interfaces are easier to “see”
  3. Strategy – visualize hypotheses and potential outcomes, then test
  4. Communicating ideas
Mike is a Chief Technical Engineer and certified Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Master Black Belt for Navistar.
Mike has led and started-up DFSS and Operational Excellence (OpEx) programs in large multinational companies across North America, Europe and Asia.
Over the last 14 years, Mike has collaborated with senior leadership to define their strategy and led execution through training, coaching and mentoring thousands of engineers and quality professionals.
He holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and BA in English Literature with a German Language minor.
