Lean Enterprise Division Address To Our Members
The Division Management Committee wants to echo the message from the ASQ and ASQE Boards of Directors. It is unacceptable that it took an inexcusable loss of life, caught on video, to escalate this systemic issue that is rooted in our society. We condemn these disturbing, racist acts and stand in solidarity & support with the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities. We are committed to do our part in creating the necessary change to prevent these actions from reoccurring.
At our core, the Lean Enterprise Division is focused on continuous improvement, personally and professionally. Addressing racial inequality in our society is no exception. We encourage all of our members to take the time to reflect on our own biases and behaviors & to make conscious efforts to improve and grow. We, as a division, are committed to supporting the ASQ diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative that ASQ announced at the Virtual WCQI. In addition, we will strive to make the division an open & inclusive community where all individuals are welcome, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other identity.
As Austin and Dani have already stated, Quality has never been about changing just one person, product, or service at one moment in time. It’s about changing systems.
Let’s stand together and be the catalysts for that change.
