ASQ Celebrates World Quality Month
Started by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) in 1984, National Quality Month came to be a joint resolution by Congress and a proclamation by President Ronald Reagan. In 1989, Congress and President George Bush reaffirmed the original legislation and recognized quality as a national priority.
With members and customers in over 130 countries, ASQ and ASQE bring together the people, ideas and tools that make our world better. Together, ASQ and ASQE are honored to lead the annual World Quality Month celebration to showcase the vital role of quality professionals in achieving excellence through quality and the positive impact that quality makes in our organizations and communities around the world.
We also celebrated National Quality Day on November 11, 2021, and National Quality Week concludes today, running from November 8 – 12, 2021.
