March 2019 Letter From The Chair
March 2019 Letter from Chair
Happy Spring! As the weather warms up I am reminded that we are getting closer to WCQI. This conference is always the time for the Audit Division Member Leaders to meet our members. We are always looking for feedback from you on what you would like the division to be doing for you. This year’s WCQI is in Fort Worth Texas. Make sure to stop by our booth to learn more about our Audit Division Conference or to give us ideas that you want to see us do. As always we will also have give-away items so stop by to pick up some fun items or maybe a free Audit Division Conference Registration.
I would like to give you a quick update on the transformation that has been happening at ASQ. At this time, you may have noticed that our webpage is a little outdated. This is due to the fact that all division websites will be moving to MyASQ. We are not using our resources at this time to update the old website, but instead are working hard on getting the Conference website and our division website up and running on My ASQ. Please excuse our mess until this is finalized. As a division we have been posting some new information on MyASQ such as the conference save the date and the Audit Division Conference Call for Papers. If you have not already done so I would highly suggest that you join the MyASQ platform as this will become our main place to report our activities. It is also a great place to meet other quality minded individuals and post questions or comments for all to see.
Speaking of our conference, I would like to remind all of our members to think about presenting at the 2019 Audit Division Conference October 17-18, 2019 in Orlando at the DoubleTree Hotel at the Entrance Universal Orlando. The call for papers is currently open and will close on May 30th. Please submit your proposals to email@example.com by the deadline. The proposal form can be found on MyASQ under the events section or just search for Audit Division. I have presented in the past and I have to say I really enjoyed it and am sure you will also.
Looking forward to see all at WCQI in May!
