Meet Norm Howe, TWEF's New Chair-Elect!
Norm has taught a course in Quality Systems as adjunct faculty at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He serves as an expert witness in FDA regulated product quality cases. Before starting with VCI he was the plant manager of a pharmaceutical plant with BASF. He was responsible for manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, maintenance, contract manufacturing, and a small product development group. He also worked as a project manager for several quality compliance upgrade projects around the company. Before that he worked in R&D at BASF.
Norm Howe got his BS in chemistry at UC, Berkeley, and a PhD in chemistry at UCLA under Donald J. Cram.
For recreation he plays at golf, which he finds to be very cost effective on a cost per stroke basis.
