WOMEN IN QUALITY SYMPOSIUM - A Message From Your Technical Communities Chair, Wanda Sturm

Published
Dear ASQ Technical Community Members,
I’d like to take a moment and tell you about ASQ’s Women in Quality Symposium, coming up on December 9, 2020. This virtual event will provide a unique avenue for women to establish meaningful connections, cultivate a personal and authentic leadership style, and build a framework for a future with more women at the helm.

The Women in Quality Symposium comes at a pivotal time for ASQ. As we enter 2021, we will have a female Society Chair (Janet Raddatz) and both the Technical Communities Council and Geographic Communities Council (Nancy Nouaimeh) will be chaired by women. This is a first for our Society, and I feel honored to be part of this milestone. The Women in Quality Symposium reflects our commitment for ASQ to “Be a Place You Want to Be” for all quality professionals.  It’s an exciting look at the future of the quality field. To learn more about the Symposium, click here.

As the TCC Chair I have registered and personally paid to attend to demonstrate how important this conference is to both women and men alike! I hope I will “see you” engaged as well!
Respectfully,
Wanda Sturm
