2022 Conference Call for Papers - Theme - “The EDGe - Quality at the Intersection of 3 Disciplines: Energy/Environmental, Design/Construction, and Government - Facing the Future Together!”

Currently, the Division is in the process of preparing for our 2022 conference. The conference will be held November 1-2, 2022, as a “Hybrid” and in-person event, and will be held in Charlotte, NC. This will be a joint conference with the Energy & Environmental Division, and this year, for the first time, the ASQ Government Division will also join us in presenting the conference. The DCD Program Committee is searching for dynamic and informative presentations on a variety of quality related topics, in design and construction, that can be applied to each participating division to facilitate a valuable and meaningful exchange of information. For this year's conference, we are looking for presentations addressing design and construction quality on the following issues:
  • Quality in the design and construction Supply Chain during the current crisis
  • Auditing and Monitoring Design and Construction Quality
  • Attracting and Retaining a Skilled Workforce in Design & Construction
  • Design and Construction Infrastructure Legislation and Funding
Although speakers on these topics would be preferred, related design and construction topics, including Performance Excellence, continuous improvement and quality methodologies will also be considered.
All presenters will receive a complimentary, full registration to this two-day event.

Ray Crawford is the Program Chair for the Design & Construction Division. If you are interested in presenting for the 2022 Conference, please submit your abstract, 250 words maximum, by June 30, 2022 to Ray at: crawfordrr72@gmail.com. A conference website is being established and more detailed information will follow.
