Pursuing a Smart Energy Future A Discussion on Carbon, Poverty, and the Role of Data in the Energy Transition

Energy underpins all aspects of modern life, and the lack of energy inhibits over 2.5 billion people from entering into modern life. In this webinar, Derek Tinker will discuss some difficult energy questions facing the world today:
     • Is it possible to address climate change and energy poverty at scale?
     • What are likely scenarios for the global energy transition?
     • How can a natural data model help to innovate and communicate during the energy transition?

5001: Ready Recognition for your Organization

The US Department of Energy’s (DoE) 50001 Ready recognition program is a self-attestation program for companies interested in complying with the basics of the ISO 50001:2018 energy management standard, but not interested in actual certification to the standard. This is a good first step for companies interested in stepping up their energy management system beyond an energy team and project-focused energy efficiency capital investments. This webinar will help attendees learn how to access and use free tools from the DoE to get started better managing an organization’s significant energy resources in a strategic and sustainable way.
