TOPIC: "Tools for Utilizing Data in its 3 Phases: Collecting, Organizing & Deciding" (Learning Level: Intermediate)
Anytime a given process doesn’t meet expectations there’s a story behind why it isn’t working as designed. We quality practitioners then use problem-solving to uncover this story. No matter what problem-solving methodology is used there are essentially three phases throughout the problem-solving steps:
·Data Collection
·Data Organization
·Data-based Decision Making
Each of these phases has a set of tools to make our job easier. This session will focus on the tools we can use during each phase to help us find the answers to our problem and introduce a tool selection continuum that facilitators, project leads, and teams can use throughout their problem-solving events.
