Description:  A transformational Trauma-Informed strategy for businesses should include a holistic systems approach in order to serve the needs of those (customers: individuals, families & communities) who have experienced adversity.
A Trauma-Informed strategic focus in a business is applying understanding, recognizing, responding and resisting re-traumatization policies & practices internally for the workforce and externally for customers receiving products and services.
Entrepreneurs & Organizations seeking to transform their business processes to serve their customers, clients, and patients, who have experienced adversity, require unique, customizable and complementary options.
Bio:  Amy has both a bachelor and master’s degree in Business from Baker College in Michigan, 25+ years of educating, data analysis, problem solving, six sigma and professional auditing experience.
She holds a professional certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and previously certifications from International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and Exemplar.  Adjunct Faculty for Cleary University in Ann Arbor, Michigan instructing Advanced Statistical Analysis, Six Sigma and ASQ Certification prep.
After analyzing the research from the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Urban ACEs studies, the impact of stress & emotional trauma on health, and the Resilient business practices in ISO 9001, Baldrige Excellence Framework and SAMHSA's Concept of Trauma and Guidance for a Trauma-Informed Approach, Amy decided to become an Advocate to build Resilience in Entrepreneurs, Leaders and Organizations.  The results led to a multifaceted, synergistic and expanded focus on the antidote of trauma: Resilience and its importance to conducting business through challenges and changing environments.
