His firm DC Wood Consulting LLC has worked with clients in manufacturing, healthcare, and transactional businesses. The company's website is www.dcwoodconsulting.com.
The program topic is "The 8 Myths of Quality: taking a random walk avoiding 'Death by Power Point'." The goal is to provide a unique and creative presentation on both obvious and hidden barriers to quality culture in an organization. The approach engages the audience in the talk, allowing multiple and concurrent ways of thinking to emphasize the ideas presented.
The program will be followed by a tutorial presented by Mr. Wood. The topic is 'Quality System Mapping' with the goal of showing several kinds of process mapping tools and helping us understand where each one may best be used.
