2021 Heart Of Illinois Section Leadership Committee Volunteer Opportunities

Published
Volunteering for the the Heart of Illinois Section of ASQ is a great way to connect with other quality professionals in the Heart of Illinois area. Volunteering assures the success of the local section and provides you with an opportunity to develop or hone your leadership and other skills outside of your job.

A variety of volunteer opportunities exist as Committee chairs and members and it is an excellent way to get involved with a great group of Quality people! Getting involved in a committee allows you to learn the various volunteer roles while preparing for other future leadership roles in the SLC.

Finally, volunteer Member Leaders earn 1.5 RU (Recertification Units) per year. Many of you have worked hard to achieve ASQ certifications. Volunteering at the Section-level is a great way to earn RUs toward keeping your certification active.

If you are interested, please contact me through myASQ.

Thank you,
Bart Helmick - 2020 Nominating Chair
