Spring 2020 Newsletter is here!
The spring edition of The Human Element is finally here. Be sure to check it out in the files are of our community.
Opportunities to Get Involved!
We currently have several ways you can get involved and share with the HD&Lcommunity:
- We are currently collecting articles for our summer newsletter. Submissions are due to our newsletter editor by June 12, 2020. Of particular interest are articles discussing the human impact of the current COVID-19 pandemic (everything from the new normal - working from home to handling stress and anxiety).
- We are also looking for additional webinar speakers for 2020. Topics should be within one of the areas of our Body of Knowledge (see our winter newsletter for more information on our latest BOK model). Reach out to our webinar co-chairs if you are interested in delivering a webinar or participating in a webinar panel.
- Consider writing a primer or other BOK content. Reach out to our BOK chair and be sure to check out our FAQs on primer writing!
In case you couldn't attend March's webinars, the files and recordings are available for download/viewing.
Our April webinar is happening today (Tuesday, April 14, 2020). Brooks Carder (our division Past Chair) will discuss the implications of developments in positive psychology for leadership. Are you like me and super interested but can't make it? No worries, we'll be posting the recording so you can watch it later.
As we continue to find opportunities to engage with our members around the world, we are pleased to announce that we are holding our first webinar in Arabic on April 20th. We are also planning on posting this recording as well for those who cannot make it.
Due to COVID-19, our friends in the Boston Section have postponed their conference until October 2020. We'll share more information as it's made available.
This year, WCQI will be a virtual event on May 6th open to all ASQ Members. For more information and registration information, please visit the WCQI website.
