Risk Analysis: During this webinar, attendees will learn several techniques for analyzing software risks to determine their exposure and priority, including:

· Determining risk priority and impact
· Calculating the risk's exposure & timeframe to prioritize risks
· Using prioritization graphs and matrices to prioritize risks
· Utilizing Comparison Risk Ranking to prioritize risks
Risk Mitigation: The basics of risk mitigation - how to utilize the 5 risk-handling techniques to explore risk planning alternatives, including:
· Avoiding risks
· Obtaining additional information
· Transferring risks
· Planning containment actions
· Planning contingency actions
About the Presenter: Linda Westfall is the President of The Westfall Team and one of their lead consultants and trainers. Her specialties include Software Quality Engineering, Metrics, Project & Risk Management, Requirements Engineering & Management, Peer Reviews, Testing, and Process Definition & Improvement.
Prior to starting her own business, Linda was the Senior Manager of Quality Metrics and Analysis at DSC Communications. Linda has 45+ years of experience in real time software engineering, quality, project and risk management, agile and metrics. She has worked as a Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, Software Process Engineer and Manager of Production Software.
