Message from the ASQ Phoenix Section Chair for April 2025
Greetings All -
Thanks to all who attended the March Program “Effects of Recall in the Food Industry Due to Poor Employee Training” with Rosemarie Christopher, President of Food SMART Strategies International (FSSI). We had 62 attending the program with the presentation receiving positive feedback.
This month’s program on April 10th @ 6pm MST is “Climate Change - ISO 9001 & Management System Standards (MSS) - What Comes Next?” with Roderick A. Munro discussing ISO 9001:2015 Amd 1:2024. His consulting focus is on the strategic deployment and execution of organizational SHEQ continual improvement methodologies incorporating simplification and risk-based thinking aspects with an emphasis on the application of performance improvement. More details are in the Newsletter, and on the MyASQ Phoenix Section site.
When you can, please review our new ASQ Phoenix Monthly One Page Lessons (OPL) designed to support your knowledge and efforts in using quality and process improvement tools. These are available in the ASQ Phoenix Section Blog. Our first one was “Process Mapping.”
Coming April 22nd will be the “Quality Impact Forum: Circular Economy”. At this year's Forum, ASQ connects you to sustainability leaders and enthusiasts embarking on this transformative journey. This will be virtual – signup at ASQ asq.org/events/sustainability.
Lastly, a reminder of the upcoming 2025 World Conference on Quality and Improvement May 4 - 7, 2025 in Denver. Learn more at https://asq.org/conferences/wcqi about the premier global forum dedicated to driving excellence in quality management, continuous improvement, and organizational success.
