March 2025

Greetings All -

Thanks to all who attended the February Program “Enhancing People Skills: Communicating with Younger Co-Workers and Embracing Quality Beyond the Task” with Sandra Menzies, MS, ICF-ACC, ASQ-CQA, ASQ-CQM/OE, PMI-PMP at Menzies Coaching & Consulting. More than 30 attended the entire Program with the Presentation receiving positive feedback. We apologize that quite a number of participants had issues with accessing the Zoom meeting, and were not able to attend the entire Program. Please ensure that you use the formal registration to ensure you have the appropriate meeting link.

This month’s Program on March 13th @ 6pm MST is “Effects of Recall in the Food Industry Due to Poor Employee Training” with Rosemarie Christopher. She has over 30 years of leadership experience with ASQ, holding various chair and member leader roles. She is currently the membership chair of the FD&C Division. More details are in the Newsletter, and on the myASQ Phoenix Section site.

We’re excited to introduce the new ASQ Phoenix monthly One Page Lessons (OPL) reference document designed to support your knowledge and efforts in using quality and process improvement tools. These will be available in the Phoenix Section myASQ community > Library tab > OPL folder. Our first OPL is “Process Mapping.”

Lastly, a reminder of the upcoming 2025 World Conference on Quality and Improvement on May 4 - 7, 2025, in Denver. Learn more at https://asq.org/conferences/wcqi about the premier global forum dedicated to driving excellence in quality management, continuous improvement, and organizational success.
